Introduction to Case Histories
How it all began...
Wouldn't it be wonderful to actually help someone to become healthy and enjoy every day of their lives? I never thought that I would be able to do that. I studied Neuro-linguistic Programming in 2002 and 2003, and practiced part-time for a few years while I was also a medical representative. I enjoyed my job in pharmaceuticals, but all the while I was looking forward to the day when I could become a full time therapist.
Karen was the first person to benefit from the Migraine Resolution Programme
In June 2004, I left my pharmaceutical job, and began to see more clients. I had developed the programme for migraine, and was keen to see if would work as well for others as it had for me. The first person I used the programme on was Karen. She had two small children and a job as a manager. Every week she experienced one or two migraine attacks. Fortunately, she had a very understanding manager, and she was able to maintain her career.
When a mother has migraine this frequently, the lives of all of the family are affected in many ways. Children do not expect to see their mother at the school play, in fact, they do not know who will be there to meet them at the school gates each day. Days out may well be cancelled at the last moment, and holidays abroad are out of the question. Mum might not be sitting at the Christmas table. She might be upstairs, missing out again.
How much would those children love their Mum NOT to have migraine?
Well, that is what happened. Karen began her therapy in November 2004, and by Christmas she was sending her migraine away in just ten minutes. There were no more lost days. The family could plan holidays and days out without wondering if Mum would be able to go too. If Mum said she would be at the school play, she would be.
Even just one success like this makes it all worthwhile
At that time my partner said to me, "If all you ever achieve with this programme is that one good result for Karen, it was all worth while. Karen now has a normal life. Not only Karen, but all of her family will benefit for the rest of her life. Yes, even just one success makes it worth while".
Many more successes
Fortunately, many more people have since benefited from the Migraine Resolution Programme, and more recently, the IBS Resolution programme, and there are many more stories. I have placed some stories on the tabs above, so that you can read about some other people's experiences. New case histories appear in the Newsletter, so don't forget to request it via the 'contact us' page.
